Cassandra Wallace, from the city’s Office of Emergency Management will be presenting her 90 minute interactive preparedness lecture at our WKNA quarterly meeting (Thurs, May 26th at 7pm, Stevens Park Club House). See the attached flyer.
The topic of emergency preparedness is an often overlooked topic that is incredibly important, not only to each individual member of our families, but to all of us as a neighborhood. Together, as a neighborhood, we have the power to respond and recover from any disaster.
Please encourage all your neighbors to attend!
Everyone in attendance will receive a free preparedness kit.
The monthly meeting is an opportunity for members of the WKNA to get up to date on the projects, activities, and general information about the neighborhood. Meetings are held of the 4th Thursday of the month.
