Dallas Love Field is opening their runway for a special 5K to celebrate 100 years of service in Dallas. The Centennial 5K on the Runway is hosted by the airport and the Frontiers of Flight Museum and will be May 13 beginning at 8 a.m. on the runway.

The USA Track & Field (USATF) course on the runway will be flat and fast. Registration includes a gender specific dry fit style shirt, race entry for the USATF certified 5K, chip timing, discount entry to the Frontiers of Flight Museum, commemorative finisher medal and refreshments.

Registration is $40 for adults 18 and over, $20 for 17 and under and $50 the day of the race. To register visit www.LoveField5K.com. Day-of registration will begin at 7 a.m. Registration is capped at 3,000 participants. Runners and walkers of all levels are welcome and jogging strollers are allowed, no dogs will be permitted.
